Master Bathroom Remodel | Brookfield, WI
Our customer wanted a light modern looking bathroom with a large shower and soaking tub, with a double vanity. The original bathroom was a Brookfield builder’s standard from the 1990’s and was dark and not very inviting. To create the type of Master Bathroom our client envisioned, we removed the fiberglass shower surround, with low soffits and dated drop in whirlpool tub and replaced it with Carrera marble tile , custom glass shower surround with a Diamond Fusion coating to prevent water spots, and Kohler shower fixtures.
We added a large Kohler soaking tub, in-floor heating system for those chilly mornings and topped the room off with 3 piece crown molding to add visual interest to the 10ft. ceilings.
To enlarge the existing vanity, we moved the wall, shrinking the closet. We added can lights along with hanging vanity lights above the custom Quartz countertops. We removed another closet replacing it with a built in linen cabinet. To maximize space, we added a pocket door to eliminate crowding when a standard, hinged door would swing into the bathroom.
The result of this rebuild is a clean, modern master with plenty of space for busy mornings or relaxing weekend soaks in the tub.
